Some weeks, emotional distress feels bigger than anything you can carry on your own. Panic arrives without warning, old memories surface while you are trying to work, the days blur together in exhaustion, and suicidality comes on without warning. If you’re living with that right now, you’re not alone, and reaching out is a meaningful first step.
A day program offers support between weekly therapy and more intensive care. You get structured, consistent help while keeping your routine. Groups are focused on building useful skills to manage the heavy lift of life, and working with others to sort out interpersonal challenges that interfere with feeling connected.
At Golden Psychology, our adult day program draws on three evidence-based approaches:
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) builds skills for handling intense emotions, tolerating distress, and communicating through conflict, reduce self harm and suicidality.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) supports people working through painful beliefs about themselves, others, and the world that often follow traumatic experiences.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you make room for difficult feelings while moving toward what matters most to you.
You practice these skills in small groups with experienced clinicians, in a warm, trauma-informed environment where your identity is respected and your pace is honored. Skills learned in the room become tools you can use at home, at work, and in your relationships.
